Ronnie Smith of Regions Bank received the Executive Excellence Award from Mississippi College School of Business. He is president of Regions' southwest region and oversees all banking operations in that territory.

Cheryl Beene, director of Homecare Quality Management for Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis, has been reappointed to the Arkansas Health Services Permit Commission by Gov. Mike Beebe.

William A. Wooten has joined the law firm of Jackson, Shields, Yeiser & Holt as an associate attorney. His focus is corporate and entrepreneurial law, business and tax transactions, intellectual property, and mediation.

RedRover Company, a marketing and communications firm, received a silver Addy Award from the District Seven American Advertising Federation for a retirement celebration invitation. Designer LeeAnn Christopherson contributed to the invitation. The firm received a bronze Telly Award and a Silver Communicator Award for a 30-second commercial. Patricia Warren contributed to the commercial with production support. Lori Turner, managing partner, led the projects.
