LeeAnn Christopherson

LeeAnn Christopherson brings more than twenty years of creative design, marketing and advertising expertise to RedRover. Her specialities include brand development and graphic design, as well as social media outreach.
From Fortune 500 companies to start-up small businesses, every project gets her absolute best. Her award-winning work includes projects created for Hilton Family of Hotels, First Tennessee Bank, Fedex, International Paper, ServiceMaster, Desoto Country Tourism and Union University. Her key strength is her ability to assess the need of the client and generate an innovative product.
Joy Doss
Sr. PR/Event Specialist
Memphis Office
Joy Doss has worked in the communications field for over a decade. After finishing with a B.S. in Marketing at the University of Tennessee, she moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion and landed at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Upon graduating FIT, she spent a year styling catalog shoots, then moved on to join the ranks of corporate America at Saatchi and Saatchi. Although advertising proved to be a great training ground, there was still something missing from the equation. Public relations turned out to be the missing link. She was able to take her skills as a “people person,” couple them with her fashion experience in styling as well as her corporate experience in advertising to funnel them into a successful PR career.
Throughout her career, Joy has headed highly creative, specialized PR programs and signature events, focusing on fashion, lifestyle and nonprofit areas. A self-described “soup-to-nuts” PR and events specialist; her strengths include developing tailor-made strategies for clients, fashion show production, general event planning and management, development of marketing and communications tools (websites, publications, marketing brochures, bios), and media relations. She has been responsible for blanket multi-media coverage and on average two million impressions or more for nearly every Client she has represented on both the regional and national levels. She has worked extensively within the agency setting and enjoys employing her talents to meet the specific needs of each client individually.
Joy looks forward to utilizing her skills at RedRover in the function of Senior PR/Event Strategist.
Silvia Meewis
Executive Assistant/Copywriter
Memphis Office
Silvia Meewis recently joined the team as executive assistant and copywriter. Her educational background varies from Denver, Colorado to the Netherlands, where she studied Communications and English with an emphasis in writing.
Here at Red Rover, it’s up to Silvia to ensure that the office is operating smoothly, communication between our company and our clients flows well, and that client projects are moving along on schedule. A tech whiz, she also supports the firm in executing both its own and its client’s social media strategies. As her chosen areas of study would suggest, Silvia also enjoys writing and lends a hand with copywriting wherever she can.
Silvia is a self-acknowledged coffee addict who recently moved from Denver to Memphis, and she’s traded in her Broncos cap for a Tigers hat.
Pete T. Rizzo
Account Manager and Sales Trainer
Memphis Office
Pete, a Memphis native, is the latest addition to the RedRover team, fulfilling the position of Account Manager and Sales Trainer. With a whole variety of sales experience under his belt, he will be an asset to RedRover by propelling our clients’ sales teams toward their targets.
Pete spent a decade in a leadership capacity for the Memphis Redbirds, serving as executive vice president of corporate sales. He also spent years in medical sales, and is the former General Manager of the Memphis Chicks.
An enthusiastic sales trainer and manager with great relationship building and motivation skills, it’s Pete’s job to help our clients fine-tune their sales strategies, to provide customized sales training to our clients’ sales teams, and to coach those sales reps to ensure that actual behavior change is occurring resulting in improved sales.
Melissa Thomson
Marketing Account Executive
Memphis Office
Melissa Thomson, a Memphis area native, has returned to the Mid-South after spending more than 10 years developing her career in Chicago and Washington D.C. Her fifteen years of experience is expansive, encompassing marketing, business development, business executive leadership, promotions, public relations, national advertising, training, web-based marketing, copywriting and creative direction. She will lead RedRover clients in planning and executing successful, achievable goals to drive their business in marketing and sales.
Melissa’s previous experience includes COO and Vice President of Business Development for Solis Energy Solutions, Marketing and Business Development for ULTA Beauty, and Ratner Companies. In Memphis she worked for NBC Capital Markets Group, Chrysler and WMC FM 100.
Melissa is excited to be back in her hometown and already has clients wagging their tails.
